Who is that sweet little "finger painted" girl on the home page of the Scott County Family YMCA's website? She is a happy participant of one of SCFY's many programs and events. When Twin State and Scott County Family YMCA staff began working on the development of their new website, they decided that showing members and participants in their programs and services would best speak to all the benefits of their organization. From there, it was a matter of working together to discern what information should be offered online and how.
The Scott County Family YMCA is an organization with eight branches, five managed facilities, and 750 employees. But, to an online visitor, it looks like "their own YMCA", one they could easily be part of.
On the technical side, Scott County Family Y has ability to change its content and update its events and schedules to keep the site fresh and vital to all who use it.
