We loved working with the team at Scott County Kids. They connect parents to services that promote positive development for children from birth to age 18, both physical and mental health. Its work is very important to families in our area, especially to those who are underserved and stand to benefit most from the resources available across our county. But its previous website was difficult to navigate and difficult to update, so we worked with the agency to build something better.

The new site divides resources meant to help parents from those meant to help providers (e.g., owners/staff of daycares). We developed a tagging system to connect people to the kinds of resources they are looking for. So, a parent seeking Medical Assistance can easily find all programs that match that description. We also implemented search tools and added a document management system, which helps administrators too. The whole site is mobile-friendly and on brand with its redesigned logo that reflects the helpful, vibrant spirit of the organization and people who run it. Scott County Kids is based in Davenport, IA, and serves families and providers throughout the county.
