Katie joined the TSTS team in January 2019 and works within the Networking department. At Twin State, she consults community businesses and improves their technology. She also designs and implements network configurations, troubleshoots performance issues, carries out network monitoring, and configures security systems such as firewalls.
A 2014 graduate of the Eastern Iowa Community College, Katie holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Information Technology with an emphasis on Networking. She is currently studying at St. Ambrose University for her Master of Science degree in Information Technology Management, with her expected graduation date being 2025.
Previously she worked as a member of the Geek Squad, where she coached, led, and mentored teams to help them achieve professional and business goals.
In her free time, Katie enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, camping, fishing, and being a tourist in her own backyard.
