Nancy joined us at Twin State in August 2021, where she assists with various accounting tasks including audit functions and reconciliations.
A graduate of the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, she is also a St. Ambrose University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Occupational Therapy.
Prior to working at Twin State, Nancy worked in general accounting at Caterpillar Inc for 12 years. In 2002, she co-founded the local Habitat for Humanity ReStore, assisting with all startup processes including grant applications & reporting, banking, sales tracking, internal controls, and accounting system setup. For 7 years, Nancy was the Finance Director in the administrative office for Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities. Prior to TSTS, she served in client support at a local financial advisor office.
In her free time, Nancy likes to volunteer. She is on the board of Café on Vine and serves as their treasurer, and she also serves on the finance committees for Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities and her church. For fun, she enjoys working puzzles (jigsaw, crossword, Sudoku), reading, traveling, and walking her dog. When Nancy is feeling creative, she decorates Ukrainian eggs (Pysanky) and knit shawls.
